Three days have passed since Tanya's surgery to remove a part of her skull to give her brain room to swell. The skull piece will be put back in at a later date. She is doing really well.
Tanya is now receiving food via tube feeder and they removed her IV; bandages on her head have been removed as well. Tanya is alert and communicating. She still has her sense of humor that we all love! She walked around a little.
Keep the nice comments coming in. Thanks for everyone's love and support.

Tanya -
ReplyDeleteWe are about the same age. We have similar initials. We played centre against each other every time we meet during provincial tournaments. I can remember some of our face-off moments, only because I remember both your strength and your nice, easy going smile :) You were my number one rival. Now that we have grown and sometimes played on the same team, I've gotten to know you as a person. With your strong, easy-going character, you'll pull through. Whether you make the face-offs from time to time, be sure you know you have a tight team behind you to bring the ball over to the offensive zone... and you got amazing fans as well :)
Now with the latest news, you have shown us that the game is on. You go, Tanya and the team :)
